Ceremonies
Every Ceremony, Crafted for You
From the joy of a wedding to the tenderness of a farewell — I am here to help you mark life's most meaningful passages with care, intention, and your own true voice.
What I believe about ceremony
A ceremony is not a formality. It is a threshold — a moment when ordinary time pauses and something true is spoken aloud. Whether you are celebrating, grieving, welcoming, or releasing, the words and rituals you choose become part of your story forever.
My work is to help you find those words. I listen carefully, ask the questions that matter, and then craft something that feels genuinely yours — not borrowed from a template, but drawn from the heart of who you are and what this moment means to you.
A ceremony as unique as your love story
Weddings
Your wedding ceremony is the heart of your wedding day — the moment everything else is built around. I believe it should sound like you: your humor, your tenderness, your history together, your hopes for what comes next.
I work with couples of all backgrounds, beliefs, and family structures. Whether you want a ceremony rooted in faith, a secular celebration, or something beautifully in between, I will help you shape every word and ritual so it feels true.
We will meet (in person or virtually), talk through your story, and I will draft a ceremony that reflects you both. You will have the chance to review, revise, and make it exactly right before your day arrives.
What's included
- Initial consultation to hear your story
- Custom-written ceremony script
- Vow-writing guidance if desired
- Rehearsal attendance available
- Legal officiation (licensed minister)
Honoring a life fully lived
Funerals & Memorials
When grief is fresh, words can feel impossible. You may not know where to begin, or how to hold everything you are feeling while also caring for everyone around you. That is where I come in.
I will sit with you and your family, listen to the stories and memories you want to share, and help you create a service that truly honors the person you have lost — their personality, their passions, the particular way they moved through the world.
A memorial service can be held anywhere: a funeral home, a church, a backyard, a beach. It can be brief and intimate or expansive and celebratory. Whatever feels right for your loved one and your family, I will help you shape it.
What's included
- Compassionate listening session with family
- Custom tribute written from your stories
- Guidance on readings, music, and rituals
- Flexible location — any meaningful setting
- Available on short notice when needed
Choosing each other again
Vow Renewals
A vow renewal is a chance to look back on the journey you have shared — the years, the seasons, the hard chapters and the beautiful ones — and choose each other again with full knowledge of what that means.
Some couples renew their vows on a milestone anniversary. Others do it after a difficult period, as a way of recommitting and beginning again. Some simply want to celebrate their love with the people who matter most, with more intention than their original ceremony allowed.
Whatever brings you to this moment, I will help you find words that honor both where you have been and where you are going.
What's included
- Conversation about your journey together
- Custom ceremony reflecting your shared history
- New vow writing or renewal of original vows
- Intimate or celebratory — any scale
- Flexible location and format
Welcoming a new life
Baby Blessings
A baby blessing is a ceremony of welcome — a moment to gather the people who love this child and speak aloud the hopes, values, and intentions you are bringing to parenthood.
Unlike a religious christening or baptism, a baby blessing is not tied to a particular faith tradition. It is a ceremony you shape around what you believe and what you want for your child — the values you hope to instill, the community you want to surround them with, the love that already fills the room.
It can be as simple as a quiet gathering in your living room or as festive as a garden party. What matters is the intention behind it.
What's included
- Conversation about your values and hopes
- Custom ceremony script for your family
- Guidance on naming, godparents, or mentors
- Readings and rituals tailored to your beliefs
- Any setting — home, garden, or gathering space
For the moments that don't fit a template
Custom Ceremonies
Life does not always arrive in the shapes we expect. Sometimes you are marking a transition that has no traditional ceremony attached to it — a divorce, a healing, a coming of age, a new chapter after loss, a milestone that deserves to be witnessed.
I believe every significant passage deserves to be honored. If you are carrying something that feels important and you are not sure how to mark it, reach out. We will talk, and together we will find a way to give it the ceremony it deserves.
Custom ceremonies are entirely collaborative. You bring the intention; I bring the craft.
What's included
- Open conversation about your intention
- Fully custom ceremony design
- Rituals, readings, and words crafted for you
- Any location, any format, any tradition
- Collaborative from first conversation to final word
